Join ALEC Building and play a critical role in shaping the digital future of construction in the region. We’re looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator to join our team and take ownership of BIM production management, coordination, and delivery across major UAE-based projects. In this role, you’ll lead BIM implementation, oversee cross-discipline coordination, and ensure all deliverables meet project specifications and industry standards. As a Senior BIM Coordinator with ALEC Building, you’ll be a key driver of BIM excellence—managing complex data environments, coordinating digital workflows, and supporting design teams to optimize project delivery. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring coordination across disciplines and leading a team of BIM modelers toward successful project execution. -Manage interdisciplinary clashes between architectural, structural, and MEP models. -Review Tender and IFC models (2D drawings, BIM models, asset data) in compliance with ISO19650. -Supervise and support BIM modelers, ensuring high standards of accuracy and technical delivery. -Review interoperability between various software platforms and suggest improvements. -Support and guide teams in BIM implementation and training. -Work with subcontractors to integrate submittals, manufacturer data, and as-built info into BIM models. -Lead BIM coordination meetings and 3D spatial coordination efforts with design and site teams. -Lead project model audits using Revit, and manage collaborative workflows in Navisworks, Revizto, and other platforms. -Oversee technical management of BIM data sets, ensuring model integrity across disciplines. -Collaborate with the Digital Construction team on BIM handover deliverables as needed. -Ensure daily BIM coordination and project setup align with project workflows and standards as guided by the Digital Construction department. -Interpret EIR and support the implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and approved protocols. -Facilitate and verify the as-built/redline/handover process, ensuring accurate model updates. -Solve technical discrepancies and assist the design team with resolutions.
