Tasks

They're currently seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support the Project Managers and Superintendents in delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in the planning and execution of commercial construction projects. You'll work closely with the project management team, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless communication, quality control, and documentation throughout the construction lifecycle. -Assist Project Managers with RFI, submittal, and change order processes -Support the preparation of project closeout documentation -Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance -Conduct field walks with superintendents and assist with quality control and safety compliance -Maintain and organize project documentation including plans, specifications, meeting minutes, and logs -Track and update project schedules and budgets -Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates -Facilitate communication between field and office teams to resolve issues promptly

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field -OSHA 10/30 certification -Effective written and verbal communication skills -1–3 years of experience in commercial construction (internships or co-ops considered) -Familiarity with South Orange County building codes and permitting processes -Experience in ground-up commercial builds and tenant improvements -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation -Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar) -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
