Tasks

-Provide construction oversight as EOR -Contribute to business development and lead proposal efforts -Lead planning and execution of Predesign investigation (PDI), Basis of Design Report (BODR), 30/60/90/final remedial design phases -Prepare and provide senior review of technical deliverables — calculations, specs, drawings, and analyses -Mentor and coach junior engineers and scientists -Develop scopes and cost estimates for remedial alternatives -Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatory agencies -Develop sediment capping and dredge prism design for complex sites -Stay current on sediment management regulations -Design bank stability and erosion protection solutions -Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for sediment remediation projects -Develop and oversee field sampling plans and execution

-12 - 15+ years in contaminated sediment projects -Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) -Experience managing detailed engineering plans/specs for capping, dredging, and dredged material handling -15+ years in contaminated sediment remediation -Experience with full lifecycle sediment cleanups -10+ years with an engineering consulting firm -Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering -Experience building client and regulator relationships -Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering -Experience with Civil 3D CAD for sediment capping, dredging, and geotechnical design -Experience with use of hydrodynamic and cap flux models -Experience with leading stakeholder engagement and navigating public project perception
