Ensure construction site safety, compliance, training, and incident investigation.

Tasks

-Represent company in all OSHA compliance inspections. -Review all safety documentation/reports for accuracy and completeness; ensure all required documents are forwarded to federal and state agencies per regulations and to company insurance carrier per their requirements. -Organize and implement the site safety recognition programs. -Manage and implement the site Drug Free Workplace Program including post-accident alcohol and drug testing. -Provide site specific safety orientation to all trades and subcontractors working on the project. -Thoroughly investigate all incidents, accidents, near misses that happen on the project and prepare a written report of findings. -Provide assistance to project and department management personnel to ensure compliance with all safety, accident, and fire programs, procedures and policies. -Perform periodic jobsite inspections and prepare observation reports. Complete US Army Corps and/or Walbridge checklists and Leading Indicator Observation Reports.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree (Occupational Health & Safety preferred) or 5+ Years of Construction experience with high school diploma. -Proficient written and oral communication skills. -Proficient Computer Skills- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. -Willingness to travel. -Minimum of two years of construction safety field experience required -OSHA 10- and 30-hour certification strongly preferred. -International, regional and local recognition for stand-out projects, safety, sustainability, culture, wellness and diversity practices -Knowledge of the 1926 OSHA Regulations. -Working Knowledge on how to develop, implement, and audit Pre Task Analysis for the Contractors and Subcontractors.
