The Role
Overview
Assist with planning and executing community recreation events and activities for 55+ residents.

Tasks
-Continuously update the lobby TV's with upcoming events and news within the community. -Work under the supervision of the Lifestyle Director to assist with the implementation of life-enriching events, activities, and outings for a large active-adult 55+ community. -Assist with department bookkeeping. -Be the first point-of-contact for set-up crew and pool monitors, create their monthly schedules, and communicate important information to them. -Oversee event ticket sales and offer assistance as needed -Coordinate with vendors for event sponsorships, food trucks, and other activities. -Work with Lifestyle Director to ensure community calendar is up to date with events, fitness classes, and food trucks -Maintain the weekly newsletter that goes out to the community.

What You Bring
-Professional customer service skills. -Acute attention to detail when working to confirm contract details with outside vendors for club, private, and lifestyle events. -Have a proven track record of reliability and timeliness. -High School Diploma or GED Required -Strong computer skills and the ability to process and work with facility reservations and set-ups for multiple amenities. -Ability to work with grace under pressure when assisting with facilitating events with time constraints. -Able to have a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, or late nights. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level. -Enthusiasm and creativity to encourage resident participation and enjoyment of all Lifestyle activities. -Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. -Time management and time critical prioritization skills -Excellent customer service skills and the utmost professionalism when dealing with challenging situations. -0 -- 3 years of directly related or closely related experience
