Tasks

-Support estimating and bidding activities by gathering data and preparing takeoffs. -Participate in on-site inspections, meetings, and safety briefings. -All employees are responsible for the general upkeep of work and shared spaces -Conduct research on construction methods, materials, and regulations as needed. -Assist the project team in the completion of designated projects while learning construction industry processes, procedures, and Enclave business policies. -Develop a first-hand understanding of job site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety. -Assist with material quantity takeoffs and evaluate contractor cost proposals. -Assist with project documentation, including progress reports, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. -Regular team member feedback surveys to drive workplace improvements -Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoicing, contracts and change orders. -Monitor and document construction work in progress; interface with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

What You Bring

-Must be actively enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management or Project Management or related major -Punctual and regular attendance is required of all employees -Are capable of performing basic mathematical calculations accurately and efficiently -Are able to read and understand simple blueprints and technical procedures -Have the ability to communicate clearly and interface effectively with a diverse group of employees -High School Diploma/GED required -Possess working knowledge of technologies, including computer and online software such as Microsoft Office Suites -Demonstrate general knowledge of construction project management principles, including estimating techniques and cost-control methods
