Develop and support measurement & data acquisition systems for gas turbine testing.

Tasks

-Operate and configure our in-house data acquisition software. -Assist in prototype engine testing and commissioning activities. -Validate new design concepts and developments applied to Siemens Energy gas turbines. -Expand your expertise in various measurement techniques, including thermocouples, pressure sensors, strain gauges, optical and infrared cameras, pyrometry, vibration and noise sensors, and more. -Maintain and enhance measurement methods and systems to ensure continuous support for Siemens Energy’s portfolio of safe, reliable, and efficient equipment. -Work on-site during engine commissioning and contribute to test data collection. -Provide support to colleagues in related measurement areas, including electronics, measurement chains, and software development for data management. -Support gas turbine test commissioning through your expertise in measurement methods, instrumentation, and installation.

What You Bring

-Experience with measurement systems and electronic circuits in industrial applications. -Secondary education in electronics, instrumentation, electrical installations, or measurement technology. -Prior experience in gas turbine commissioning is appreciated. -Practical experience in building electronic circuits and measurement chains is highly valued. -A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as electronics, electrical circuits, instrumentation, or measurement technology is desirable. -Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
