Tasks

-Produce technical reports, basis of design documents, and construction specifications -Attend project progress and review meetings with clients, utility owners, and regulatory agencies -Lead and support design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including process components, pumping systems, storage, and conveyance infrastructure -Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers working on modeling, drafting, and plan production -Develop engineering calculations, process design layouts, P&IDs, site plans, and detailed design drawings -Manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure efficient, high-quality delivery -Coordinate with structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines throughout the design process

I’m representing an engineering consultancy in Houston that is looking to strengthen their Water/Wastewater team with an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on design delivery and supporting municipal clients on treatment plant and infrastructure upgrades. -Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills -Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas -6+ years of experience designing water or wastewater treatment facilities and/or related infrastructure -Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline -Valid driver’s license -Familiarity with local municipal and county design criteria (Houston/Harris County preferred)
