Tasks

-Address minor maintenance issues such as light bulb replacement, paint touch-ups, and furniture assembly. -Completing work orders. -Keep outdoor areas clear of debris and litter. -Monitor and maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaping. -Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain the appearance of common areas, grounds, and amenities. -Maintain outdoor landscaping, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and planting flowers. -Provide friendly and responsive customer service, addressing residents' needs and concerns in a courteous manner. -Ensure trash and recycling areas are regularly emptied and kept tidy. -Clean and sanitize high-traffic areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational spaces. -Assist residents with moving in and out of apartments, including loading/unloading belongings. -Conduct routine inspections to identify and report maintenance or safety concerns. -Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive resident experience.

What You Bring

-Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs, locations and sequence of operations. -A valid driver's license. -Ability to identify cleaning and chemical supplies, ability to read and understand Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ability to understand proper applications of chemicals and general cleaning supplies and ability to frequently handle these products. -0-1 year of experience in custodial/ maintenance work. -Ability to read and understand policies and procedures including but not limited to Key Control Policy, Apartment Home Turnover Policy and all Maintenance Emergency policies and procedures. -Ability to work at multiple communities -Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ability to use properly. -Demonstrates knowledge of paint types and paint tools. -Ability to communicate with our associates and residents in order to provide customer service.
