Developing and implementing SHE related improvement projects.
Coordinates SH&E auditing, investigation, training and action processes across the site. Ensure Permit to Work program aligns with Orica’s Group Standard requirements.
Facilitate roll out of the Major Hazard Management program and Major Hazards Stop Cards and align the programs.
Ensure site compliance with regulatory and Orica SHE requirements through completing assurance processes.
Provide visible leadership to prevent or correct behaviours or work conditions not consistent with Orica’s SHEC values or standards.
Optimising operational efficiency, including fixed and mobile plant and equipment utilisation & people resources.
Assist Deer Park Site in the areas of process safety, risk assessments and occupational health and safety.
Develop, provide and continuously improve SHE KPIs for line management and SHE support team to identify areas of focus and deliverables.
Provide advice and support to line management for their SH&E accountabilities to comply with SH&E values and standards.

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft suite.
Experience on leading and improving the investigation process through 5-whys and ICAM methods or other investigation methods.
Experience in safety management system (e.g., Enablon) is highly desirable;
Familiar with the regulation requirements on Occupational Safety and Health;
Diploma or Degree qualified in engineering, science, or other related discipline;
Demonstrated experience in effectively collaborating and communicating at all levels of a global organization;
This role is ideally suited to individuals with 3 or more years of relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment;
