Tasks
-Prepare and evaluate tender and construction packages, including electrical and instrumentation drawings, installation specifications, and other supporting documentation. -Complete electrical control and instrumentation system design including P&ID drawings, control system architecture, and instrumentation systems; -Perform system checkout, testing, and commissioning; -Perform protection and control systems design and settings; -Design, program and configure DCS and PLC/HMI applications; -Design industrial MV and LV electrical power systems, including electrical room design, equipment specifications, motor control and grounding systems, and cable and raceway sizing and layouts; -Audit industrial facilities and develop preliminary engineering designs and estimates for electrical and control system upgrades;

What You Bring
Our Automation & Digitalization division is currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Controls Engineer to join our Eugene, OR office. This position would be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of high quality, innovative electrical and control engineering projects that improve plant productivity, reliability, and sustainability for our North American customers. -Registered as a Professional Engineer is an assett; -Resourceful, self-managed, and goal driven but still able to work effectively in a team; -Graduate of a bachelor's or diploma program in electrical engineering (or similar); -Consulting engineering experience; -Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (English); -Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites (typically 5-20%). -Practical knowledge of North American standards; -Legally entitled to work in the USA; -Experience in pulp & paper an asset; -Site audit, commissioning, construction, and start-up experience. -Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering;
