The Role
Overview
Inspect and test transportation construction projects to ensure contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Prepare detailed Daily Inspection Reports, with photos, accurately reflecting the construction progress -Perform daily construction quality inspection/testing of day/night work operation to confirm the contractor is complying with the requirements of the contract plans and specifications -Inspect and document materials acceptance -Maintain a good working relationship with contractor and client

What You Bring
-Ability to work night/weekends shifts for an extended duration -Ability to learn quickly and assist with applicable tasks -Ability to work in a team environment -ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I preferred, or ability to get it in 3 months. -Inspection experience including traffic control, PCC and Asphalt paving, reinforced concrete, earthwork, drainage and striping -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Minimum of 4 years of experience transportation projects (Highway, airport, transit, etc.) required. WAQTC certifications preferred, or ability to get it in 3 months.
