Tasks

As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a key part in ensuring our supplier accounts and company expense processes run smoothly. You’ll be responsible for accurately processing invoices, managing payments, resolving supplier queries, and supporting month-end accounting activities. This role is vital in helping us maintain strong supplier relationships and ensuring our financial information remains accurate and up-to-date. -Process approved invoices, ensuring correct coding and posting -Assist with month-end tasks, including preparation of accruals and prepayments for utility accounts -Prepare and manage supplier payment runs in line with due dates -Liaise with suppliers and internal colleagues to resolve invoice and payment queries -Register incoming purchase invoices in Sage and distribute to relevant departments for approval -Process and pay company expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policy
