Overview

Operate drilling equipment to collect soil samples for geotechnical analysis.

Tasks

-Safely drive company vehicles to and from job sites. -Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members. -Stand for up to 8 hours per day and walk on uneven or unstable surfaces (concrete, dirt, gravel, etc.). -Use hands to operate, assemble, and maintain tools and equipment. -Maintain consistent, on-time attendance. -Conduct accurate visual inspections and log soil samples for reporting. -Work outdoors up to 100% of scheduled hours in varying weather conditions. -Drive company vehicles safely. -Load and unload drilling equipment from company vehicles. -Hold and guide drill rods during drilling operations. -Operate drilling equipment to obtain soil samples for geotechnical analysis.

What You Bring

-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. -Ability to travel frequently, work flexible hours, and stay overnight as required. -2–5 years of experience in soil drilling. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Communicate effectively in person and by phone/radio. -Basic computer skills. -Valid driver's license required. -Bend, stoop, climb, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
