Tasks

-First response to all pollution related incidents/jobs raised. -Delivering world class customer service and managing stakeholders such as the client, the Environment Agency and local authorities. -Maintaining a no compromise approach to H&S practice while carrying out works. -Oversee and supervise any pollution site, ensuring safe, efficient and effective management of the incident. -Plan and organise ongoing mitigation or follow on works required. -Initiate initial mitigation of pollution to minimise impact to the environment and wildlife. -Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception. -Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibility towards them. -Lead the investigation to establish the cause of the pollution. -Ensure all evidence is captured to support the investigation of a pollution incident, or to demonstrate that no pollution has occurred, ensuring class leading data and image capture in Big Change. -Oversee and facilitate the work required to ensure the issue is resolved quickly and to the correct standard, including facilitation of external contractors required for remediation works to ensure restoration of services.
