Tasks

-Standards and Procedures: Learn and apply department standards, methods, and procedures relevant to your field of study. -Project Deadlines: Meet various deadlines for daily duties or special projects as assigned by DM or designee. -Team Contribution: Assist in various duties as needed to deliver quality products on schedule and within budget in a team environment. -Task Execution: Perform assigned tasks under the close supervision of the Department Manager or designee, following specific and detailed instructions.

What You Bring

-Basic software Skills: Having basic computer skills, and knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD, is a plus. -Professional Experience: Must be registered with the Office of Professional Experience Program or an equivalent program (if applicable). -Knowledge/Projects/Development focus area: Cut/fill analysis, storm drainage, fire, water, sanitary sewer, and erosion control. -Additional Software Experience: You may also gain experience with Infraworks and Navisworks, which are valuable for modeling and project visualization. -Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required, though this may be waived for international assignments. -Academic Year: Rising Junior or Senior academic year preferred. -Skills: Demonstrated organizational skills are required. -Training: You’ll receive training in Autodesk Civil 3D, which is essential for civil engineering design. Training may also include Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA) or Infodrainage softwares for stormwater calculations. -Travel: Occassional local travel may required for client visits as needed. -Education: Enrollment in an ABET-accredited engineering school, majoring in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
