Tasks

-Lead electrical services design on large projects and overall MEP on small to medium-sized projects within the office. -Manage and prioritise the workload of a project team including specialist groups. -Report cost and resource requirements to the team leader on a regular basis. -Be responsible for dealing successfully with Clients and other professionals. -Host and chair internal project team meetings. -Ensure quality standards and technical accuracy is delivered. -Work on a varied portfolio of projects both in the UK and Internationally. -Competently represent Hoare Lea at project meetings. -Contribute to the professional development of individual team members and identify opportunities. -Define and agree brief with Client.

What You Bring

-Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record delivering on a variety of complex projects. -Demonstrable experience working with clients/contractors / architects in a design-oriented / consultant role. -Experience of modern technical delivery processes, and use of relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux. -Experience in supporting others to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence. -Self-awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity
