What You Bring

-Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, SIDRA, TransModeler, VISSIM, AutoCAD/MicroStation/Geopak/Open Roads Designer and Microsoft Office. -Knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual and NCDOT Congestion Management Guidelines. -Ability to work in a team setting collaboratively with group of other traffic and transportation/civil engineers. -Ability to identify project issues and facilitate resolution. -Ability to meet all safety requirements if/when visiting a work site. -Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency. -Pavement markings and signage -Strong written and verbal communication skills required. -Experience with Travel Demand Modeling Software (TransCAD, CUBE), ArcGIS, SignCAD preferred. -5+ years of experience required. -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required. -Experience working with state DOTs preferred. -Strong technical background with good client skills. -P.E. license required, PTOE is preffered.
