Assist with bridge inspections and structural design projects under supervision.

Tasks

-Support the development of bridge projects including structural design, preparation of plans, writing reports, and computing quantities. -Primarily assist with bridge inspections including on-site investigations, documenting findings, preparing reports, and other duties. -Work under the direct supervision of engineering staff and will be assigned to bridge inspection and design projects.

What You Bring

-Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills. -Previous bridge inspection experience is beneficial. -Structural design classes and/or experience is beneficial. -In pursuit of a civil engineering degree. -A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.

Company-provided vehicles and/or ride-sharing options will be available for off-site travel. -Position requires overtime and out-of-town travel (anticipated to be less than 50% of time and maximum of 5 consecutive days). Work-related expenses for out-of-town travel will be covered by Ayres.
