Part Time Accounting Specialist (MUST Have Payroll Experience)

Tasks

-Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal departments -Perform bank and credit card reconciliations -Entry and posting of journal entries -Assist with various nuisance and property tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements -Maintain accurate and organized financial records -Support cash entries and daily cash reporting activities -Support full-cycle accounts payable and the accounts receivable activities at the plant level -Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports -Assist with audits and corporate tax preparation as needed -Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations -Perform payroll processing in a back-up capacity, including all related reports and tasks -Work closely with plant personnel to assist with accounting and financial-related needs -Support month-end and year-end closing processes

What You Bring

-Strong Excel skills and comfort with technology -3+ years of payroll processing experience -Proficiency with accounting software, preferably in ERP systems -HS Diploma or Equivalent -Solid understanding of accounting principles -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills -Prefer Associate Degree with a business or accounting concentration -Exceptional ability to work independently and dive deep into tasks -3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment -Strong knowledge of AP, AR -Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
