Tasks

-Operates equipment and machinery such as forklifts, welders and repair tools. -Loads, unloads, stores, transports and furnishes craft workers with tools and supplies. -Responsible for the proper function and safety performance of all tools. -Coordinates tool repairs, replacements, and inventory management. Manages spare tools, assesses quantity requirements, and ensures availability for immediate use. Distributes tools to new team members and retrieves company-owned tools from departing personnel. -Ensures the work environment remains safe, clean, and organized, with designated spots for all tools to facilitate easy identification of any missing or damaged equipment. Regularly restocks work areas with necessary supplies and materials to support seamless operations. -Performs shipping and receiving duties and delivers tools or materials to job sites. -Performs semi-annual physical inventory of tools and assets (including trailers) to ensure all are accounted for. -Coordinates with proper job site contacts for all tool deliveries.

What You Bring

Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Working knowledge of tool organization software. 1-2 years of tool coordination experience, preferably in the construction sector. Must be certified to operate forklifts, roustabouts, and duct lifts. Intermediate Level using Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word and Outlook. Valid/current driver’s license and a good driving record. High school diploma or GED required
