Tasks

-Deliver code that millions will use -Partner across engineering teams to take on company-wide initiatives spanning multiple projects -Considers customer impact in technical decisions -Lead code reviews & documentation as well as take on complex bug fixes, especially on high-risk problems -Regularly address complex architectural challenges and implement architectural standards in new projects -Set the standard for thorough, meaningful code reviews -Deliver solutions that are used by other teams and products -Mentor junior members -Devise strategies for tackling large projects -Regularly address significant and most challenging problems on the team, from technical design to launch

What You Bring

-Self-motivated, quick learner with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong team player -BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field involving coding -Experience in building services in the cloud (AWS, Azure) -Good knowledge of Databases -10+ years of overall Software Development experience -Demonstrated ability to write excellent code using Java/J2EE for Distributed Cloud Applications -Curiosity and willingness to be a full-stack developer -Good with design, Coding, Data Structures and Algorithms
