The Role

Overview

Tasks

-Advise customers on required maintenance, recommended services, and available parts. -Process parts orders, returns, and warranty claims accurately and efficiently. -Promote dealership service packages, seasonal promotions, and value-added products. -Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow with technicians. -Provide accurate cost estimates, timelines, and updates throughout the service process. -Create and maintain repair orders, ensuring accurate documentation of customer concerns, technician findings, and completed work. -Monitor job progress, follow up on delays, and keep customers informed. -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, parts availability, and supplier options. -Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. -Greet customers in person and over the phone, listen to their needs, and provide professional guidance on parts and service options. -Support upselling of parts and accessories that improve equipment performance and longevity. -Assist customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing correct parts.

What You Bring

As a part of the America’s team, SANY is looking to recruit and experienced Parts & Service Advisor that serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the dealership’s service and parts departments. This role is responsible for assisting customers with parts inquiries, scheduling service work, preparing repair estimates, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. -Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. -Previous experience in parts, service, or customer support roles (equipment, automotive, agriculture, or related industry preferred). -Strong computer skills; dealership management systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite. -Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Knowledge of mechanical and technical equipment (construction, agricultural, or related machinery a strong asset).
