Strategic sourcing & buying for water projects, delivering cost, ESG and supplier performance.

Tasks

-Provide coaching, training, and guidance to the Supply Chain team to ensure efficient day-to-day procurement operations -Vendor management – support the management of cost, supply risk, H&S & ESG. Manage relationships, performance, development also approval -Obtain competitive pricing to support tenders and bids -Cost reduction – actively look for structural changes to reduce costs -Strategic sourcing – identify and onboard quality suppliers -Operational sourcing – on a project-by-project basis, recommend suitable vendors, for both tender and execution

-Strong negotiation skills -Understanding of best value (Price, quality, service & sustainability) -Previous experience in a buying / sourcing processes -Ability to build strong relationships -Previous experience in a construction or civils environment
