Tasks

-Identify and address root causes of process or control failures, implementing corrective actions to enhance financial accuracy, compliance, and operational discipline. -Lead the planning and execution of the annual standard cost roll in SAP, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational changes. -Partner with operations to classify and analyze production costs, identify cost drivers, and support continuous improvement initiatives. -Lead and execute the annual physical inventory and manage the ongoing cycle counting program. -Ensure compliance with internal control policies, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, while identifying opportunities to strengthen financial processes. -Support the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and quarterly pro forma reporting for plant operations. -Provide financial guidance and support for major capital projects (AFEs), including tracking, reporting, and post-investment reviews. -Present financial insights and operational performance analysis to plant leadership and corporate stakeholders. -Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, inventory valuation, cost variance analysis, and balance sheet account reconciliations. -Maintain and ensure the accuracy of standard costs, including BOMs, routings, labor, and overhead rates across diverse manufacturing processes.

What You Bring

-5 plus years of manufacturing cost accounting experience multi-product line and/or greenfield experience a plus -Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders -Demonstrated leadership and initiative with a continuous improvement mindset -Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s or MBA a plus) -Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment -Deep understanding of US GAAP, inventory valuation methodologies, and internal control frameworks (SOX) -2 plus years in people management -CPA or CMA certification a strong plus -Strong working knowledge of SAP, especially related to standard costing, inventory, fixed asset, and cost center accounting -Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables); experience with OneStream a plus
