Tasks

-Guide new construction work through layout -Perform survey note taking -Perform basic surveying computations and plan reading -Verify locations of structures -Build and maintain effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels -Set up and operate Trimble GPS equipment, including base station, SCS 900 software, GCS 900, and laser level -Care for, clean, and use surveying tools and equipment -Survey existing conditions of proposed work sites

-*Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs. -Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. -Current driver’s license -Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. -CTS level 1 or equivalent preferred -Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. -Ability to operate equipment including but not limited to Base Station, SCS 900, GCS 900, and laser level -Minimum one year of related construction experience -Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback -Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements -Ability to work independently
