Tasks
As a Contract Administrator will mitigate risk through the effective review, negotiating and administration of all contractual documentation -Administers public works and private contracts/subcontracts which can be complex in nature -Completes all OCIP/CCIP/UCIP enrollment forms -Negotiates favorable contract terms and build positive relationships with company’s partners -Works closely with Estimators/Project Managers/Management to complete all contractual documents -Produces certificates of insurance required for Projects -Maintains organized electronic files -Identifies and rectify any potential mistakes or discrepancies in contractual documents -Prepares communications, such as memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence -Ensures company policies and procedures align with construction industry regulations -Stays up to date with all laws, regulations and contract trends for potential impact to company -Serves as a point of contact for communication and resolution of contract issues and disputes -Orders and track surety bonds -Tracks contract deadlines, compliance requirements, amendments, and renewals -Logs and tracks contracts and other contractual documents -Reviews prime contracts and specifications -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. What You Bring
Education and/or Experience -The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus -Proficient in Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point -Keen attention to detail -Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment -Excellent customer service skills -A minimum of 6+ years of contract administration in construction is preferable -Interacts effectively with all levels of internal and external customers -Strong analytical skills -Understanding of Labor Unions and Labor Agreements a plus -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills -Strong knowledge of construction contracts, compliance requirements and document control -Adapts to changing priorities and deadlines with ease
