  • Schedules subcontractors/vendors for job execution and communicates with GC, crew and PM.
  • Creates and maintains a safety & development culture.
  • Responsible for the development of direct reports. Foreman/Lead Journeymen and helping to form Development plans for the Crew.
  • Coordinate with PM to review budget of projects. Ensure we stay within our budget.
  • Monitors Efficiency, Quality, and maintains safe work practices - Brings Accountability to the crew. Knowledge of the projects and work procedures. Ensure that we complete projects on time, safely, following company policies.
  • Plan projects from initiation to completion, conducting progress meetings and maintaining a three-week look-ahead schedule. Optimizes resource utilization to ensure projects are completed on time and under budget.
  • Working with the team to schedule interviews and review potential crew members.
  • Ensuring crews are progressing through EST Levels. Review the crew’s knowledge and witness proficiency test to progress to the next level. Ensure the crew leads are teaching and training the next level.
  • Coordinate with PM and other GFs to share resources - Maintain and Track tools & Equipment usage. Move manpower and resources from job to job as needed.
  • Checks time sheets for accuracy and ensures they are filled out daily and ready for payroll on time.
  • Ensures Job Briefings are performed correctly. Teach – Train – Develop a process to hold crews accountable – Teach leads to analyze and identify risk and mitigate with safety controls.
  • Safety Audits – Review job sites for progress and safety process.
  • Oversees material purchasing to ensure all acquisitions align with the company’s best interests and project requirements. Maintains full ownership of the purchasing process
  • Work with safety and ops. team to track and schedule training for crew members. Ensure that the required training is up to date.

  • Servant Leadership Training
  • State and Federally accredited Lineman Apprenticeship program

  • Uniforms and PPE provided
  • Proficiency with NEC and local codes
