Tasks

-Foster a collaborative and performance-driven procurement culture. -Track procurement budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on key procurement KPIs. -Draft and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with commercial, legal, and technical terms. -Ensure adherence to corporate procurement policies, systems (SAP, Ariba), and documentation standards. -Mentor and guide project buyers, expeditors, and junior procurement staff. -Support value engineering and lifecycle cost analysis initiatives. -Conduct global market analysis to identify cost-effective and technically compliant suppliers. -Drive supplier localization and cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or schedule. -Build and maintain a robust supplier base with a focus on performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. -Mitigate procurement risks through proactive planning and stakeholder engagement. -Manage end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards for E&I systems such as transformers, switchgear, control panels, instrumentation, and cabling. -Develop and implement sourcing strategies for E&I packages with a focus on best-cost countries (e.g., India, China, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe). -Ensure alignment with project timelines, technical specifications, and budget constraints. -Maintain accurate procurement dashboards and reports to support audits and client reviews.

What You Bring

-Strategic thinking and cost analysis. -GCC project procurement experience will be an advantage, especially with clients such as Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, KOC, or PDO. -Familiarity with global trade regulations, Incoterms, and logistics. -Proven experience in best-cost country sourcing and international supplier development. -Technical understanding of E&I systems and specifications. -ERP proficiency (SAP, Ariba) and MS Office Suite. -Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation, Supply Chain, or related field. -Strong negotiation and global sourcing skills. -18–25 years of procurement experience in EPC or Gas to Power projects, with at least 3 years in a lead buyer or sourcing role. -Willingness to travel or relocate based on project requirements. -Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
