Senior Site HSE Manager

Overview

Oversee HSE compliance and coordination for a large battery manufacturing site.

Tasks

-Monitor waste streams until elimination and transportation of dangerous goods. -Conduct HSE visits across all batches that fall within their remit on a weekly basis. -Ensure Safety coordination requirements are put in place properly. -Review all HS&E documentation issued by Contractor and Subs on his/her batch. -Attend construction monthly progress meetings. -Make sure Contractors roll out their emergency preparedness and response plans on safety & environment. -Conduct Site HS&E inductions for personnel. -Mobilize additional HSE expertise when required. -Support the batch leader in organizing “HSE events” with companies (awareness-raising, feedback, safety briefings) and run HSE awareness-raising sessions. -Ensure Contractors report their KPI on a monthly basis.

-Construction Industry Federation Safety Management CPD Card Holder – Essential. -Experienced in OHSAS 18001 Safety Management Systems – Desirable. -PSCP services experience – Essential. -Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. -8+ years of applicable experience. -Multi-sector construction experience – Desirable. -Proficient with MS Office, file management systems – Essential. -Full driving license – Essential.
