The Role
Overview
Prepare, cook, serve food/beverages, handle cash, maintain hygiene & safety.

Tasks
-Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures -Other duties occasionally assigned by the Management team to ensure the smooth running of the department. -Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular H.A.C.C.P regulations -Clean and replenish service equipment. -Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations at all times. -Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by the company. -Handling cash transactions and ensuring the accurate cash handling procedures are followed in accordance with company procedure and till procedures. -Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture. -To present an image at all times conducive to good customer relations. -Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's policies and procedures. -Preparation of service area and/or service points. -Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's health and safety policy. -To contribute to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene -Attend in-house training sessions.

What You Bring
-Ability to work with minimal direction and as part of a team. -1 years' experience in a similar environment. -Food assembly and service of same in an efficient manner, which may include some light cooking. -Knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP. -Accurate storage of food items and equipment after service. -Good understanding of English. -Customer service experience -Good timekeeping -Excellent customer service skills & courteous manner -Ability to complete paperwork as assigned by your line manager -Previous experience with a catering environment desirable. On the job training will be given. Must acquire basic food hygiene qualification within first six months.
