Tasks

-Develop and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures. -Provide training and support to staff on facility-related procedures and safety practices. -Ensure that all facility operations comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. -Track and analyze utility usage and costs, and report on energy efficiency. -Coordinate and oversee the work of external vendors and contractors. -Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, facility inspections, and equipment performance. -Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of facility systems. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment. -Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service quality meets facility standards. -Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for all facility systems. -Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. -Ensure the facility system is consistent operating at optimum level. -Oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC systems, MAU, RAU, Scrubbers, Chillers, Boilers, Chemical and Waste Management, electrical systems, cleanroom environment (Temperature & Humidity Control and Pressure Control), UPW, PCW, Vacuum & CDA system and specialty gases and chemicals. -Work closely with facility staff, management, and other departments to address facility needs and support operational goals. -Plan, coordinate, and manage facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and repairs. -Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. -Prepare and present reports on facility operations, maintenance, and project status. -Ensure documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements. -Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives and best practices. -May involve working outside of regular hours to address facility issues or oversee projects. -Review and approve service contracts, purchase orders, and invoices. -Prepare project plans, budgets, and timelines, and report on project progress. -Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and potential improvements. -Monitor and manage waste generated to ensure compliance to EPA requirements -Monitor and manage energy consumption to promote sustainability and reduce costs.

What You Bring

-Standard office environment with frequent visits to facility areas and production environments. -5+ years of experience in facility management, building systems maintenance, or a similar role. -Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a plus. -Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards. -Willingness to continuously learn and update skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. -Experience with energy management and sustainability practices. -Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to the industry or facility type. -Certification in facility management (e.g., Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP)). -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. -Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced high-tech manufacturing environment -Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends. -Proficiency in facility management software and tools. -Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. -May require occasional travel to other facilities or vendor locations.
