Tasks

-Liaise with clients on a daily basis. -Take accountability for high-standard deliverables by adopting various check/review methods and documentation practices. -Review technical work including model build, verification, evaluation, feasibility, optioneering, and outline design. -Build strong internal and external client relationships through value addition. -Train modellers to understand engineering constraints and opportunities to ensure realistic model outputs. -Support recruitment, staff development, and business growth in new regions. -Clarify expectations and outcome measures to meet client requirements and deliver successful projects. -Supervise modellers in integrating hydraulic modelling (1D–2D) with engineering aspects. -As a Wastewater Modeller, you will manage a diverse range of sewerage-related projects that deliver sustainable benefits to communities and the environment for both public and private sector clients. -Influence delivery teams to adopt smarter methods by developing automation tools and ensuring high quality. -Manage the project team and client relationships.

What You Bring

-Strong communication and writing skills. -Flexible and adaptable to new or challenging work as per business requirements. -Minimum 12 years of experience in hydraulic design or modelling. -In-depth knowledge or experience with tools such as InfoWorks ICM, MapInfo, QGIS, SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS, MicroDrainage, or similar. -Self-motivated, assertive, and capable of working under pressure. -Preferably fully chartered or close to undergoing the chartership interview with a recognized institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM). -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Geography.
