The Role

Overview

Design water & wastewater treatment systems under PE guidance.

Tasks

-Coordinate the work of engineers, technicians, and others on multidiscipline project teams throughout the project’s development and execution. -Perform engineering process design, including equipment sizing and selection. -Prepare analyses and studylevel reports for water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems; determine appropriate design methods; and work directly with facility Owners. -Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems, distribution systems, and collection systems under instructions from a Professional Engineer. -Model piping system layouts. -Prepare piping diagrams, composite piping plans, equipment arrangements, piping isometrics, and other detailed drawings in various software platforms. -Prepare drawings and specifications for water and wastewater treatment systems, distribution systems, and collection systems. -Assist with the administration of construction contracts and startup of wastewater treatment plants, water treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and related facilities.

What You Bring

-Selfmotivated, able to work independently and collaboratively with a project team to achieve completion of tasks and projects. -Previous experience with an architectural or engineering consulting firm. -Hydraulic modeling software experience. -Software knowledge: Revit, Civil 3D. -Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field -Design/drafting experience. -Interest or experience in municipal water and wastewater systems planning and design.
