Overview

Design and review airfield CAD/Civil 3D drawings, models, and QC.

Tasks

-Work with AutoCAD functions including sheet set manager, tool palettes, AutoCAD annotations, Civil 3D annotations, tables, and scales -Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings -Train staff on the most current technologies being utilized in the industry -Develop design models including points, alignments, profiles, cross sections, corridors, surfaces, and pipe networks -Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation if service is requested by the engineer or project manager -Perform quality control redline checks before having plan sets roll up to Project Managers -May assign/manage efforts in the CAD/Civil 3D department

What You Bring

-Basic understanding of Civil engineering and design practices -Experience with AutoCAD Map is preferred -Ability to prepare various support graphics for reports and meetings -Computer skills: AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map, and Microsoft Office -Ability to work proficiently with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (Civil Engineering design and documentation software) is required -Possess knowledge of coordinate systems, cartographic layout and design techniques -Ability to communicate thoughts and concepts with team members -5+ years of experience using CAD for airfield design projects. -Strong knowledge with CAD set up using surveyor data
