Senior Application Engineer (Data Center Project)

Provides technical support and proposals for composite solutions in data center projects

Tasks

-Conceptual design of composite components and assemblies to support proposals -Generate solid and surface component and assembly CAD models -Work as part of a team of design and engineering and ops staff -Works with engineering, sales, and ops staff to understand standard component fabrication techniques, standard composite materials to use, and current demands of our customers to formulate design details for the sales staff and our customers. -Provides customer support by responding to requests for technical queries with detailed analysis of building management system, schedule of creation, tooling costing, and submittal of design and process improvements, when applicable, to meet all customer product needs. -Provides product technical engineering information by creating and giving presentations on customer proposals. This contains, but is not limited to, 3D representations of finished goods, 3D representations of tooling, etc. -Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, and other professional and technical personnel.

What You Bring

-Possess knowledge in PLC programming. Tridium Niagara software -Knowledge of ACMV and controls associate with Johnson Control Metasys will be an advantage -Ability to compose detailed bill of materials for proposals -Tridium Niagara certification will be added advantage, -Bachelor's Degree in Process & Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years relevant working experience -Transportation composite or other composite experience preferred
