The Role

Overview

Paint parts using powder coating, inspect, maintain equipment

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Hang, paint and offload all parts required for production, including parts being supplied to other Eaton facilities. -Mark orders as started or completed on DMM. -Standard maintenance and ongoing equipment quality inspections. -Operate the burn off oven system. -Inspect finished products. -Perform daily chemical testing, environmental tank cleaning and chemical handling as required.

What You Bring

-Experience working in a team environment. -Effective time management and prioritization skills. -Continuous standing, reaching. -High school diploma/GED or equivalent from an accredited institution. -Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with machines. -Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills. -Lifting and occasional heavy lifting/maneuvering up to 50 lbs with assistance or using lifting device. -2 years’ experience working on an industrial paint line. -Ability to cross train and continuously learn. -Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. -Ability to recognize quality issues and make judgements. -Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. -At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. -Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
