Competitive intelligence: be the SPOC in the team to drive competitive analysis actions across the team, collecting insights on competition positioning and lessons learnt activities.
Key contributor to the 3 years business plan, annual segment ambition setting, and quarterly business performance reviews.
Within the Power System Strategy and Marketing team, the role of the Segment Marketing Manager is to be the marketing lead for the given segments, researching market landscape and developing go to market strategies.
- Create promotion assets and training to support deployment of power systems in the given segment
- Define / adapt offer architecture for given segment
- Commercial Champion: You are able to give insight to sales leaders, create tactical campaigns and enable our sales force to be as effective as possible with our customers. You monitor the pipeline and orders performance
- Communication: You create and deploy campaigns, drive customer events attendance, co-create media strategies to reach our target audience and personas
- Working with segments business lead, map the segments investment trends and eco-system (market trends, key customers, key opportunities, and the competitive landscape)
- Strategy: You will work closely with business leaders to develop value propositions and create marketing strategies to meet overall business objectives, you will work with global counterparts, adapting messaging to local needs

The role requires analysis and understanding of market conditions, articulating value proposition and offer architecture and the ability to create marketing plans to raise awareness, create demand and generate leads within the target segment(s).
- Strong analytical skills to derive business insights from a wide range of data and information available.
- Market Intelligence: you understand the dynamics of the EV sector in the UK&I (current and future), you translate legislation into investment, you spot growth opportunities and will be the face of Schneider Electric with industry alliances.
- Dynamic, motivated individual - the ability to self-start and lead is essential.
- Strong communication skills to converse with customers, managers, and partners.
- Marketing degree
- Electrical Engineering (or technical qualification with focus on Medium Voltage) - Desirable
