Overview

Design electrical systems for oil & gas/power facilities including FEED to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Shall be aware of and implement relevant HSE aspects while performing assigned tasks -Shall be able to prepare load list, load calculations, cable sizing, earthing and lighting calculations including preparation of cable schedules and interconnection diagrams -Shall be able to prepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical items with minimum supervision. -Shall be able to understand and prepare basic control schematics -Shall be able to perform vendor drawing review of Electrical items and mechanical packages

What You Bring

-Shall be able to read, understand and implement client specifications / local / international standards -Shall be able to work in multi-cultural environment -Shall be able to understand overall power distribution scheme and SLDs -8 - 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas / industrial projects -Shall have good understanding of various electrical layouts and shall be able to guide and check work performed by designers -Shall have good written and oral communication skills -Shall have good knowledge of electrical equipment like MV/LV Switchgears, transformers, UPS etc. -Working experience in ETAP / SPEL will be an added advantage -Shall have a Bachelor’s Degree (Full Time) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
