Tasks

-Perform, review, and approve transmission line and cable designs in compliance with Australian/IEC standards and Transgrid technical requirements. -Investigate and implement innovative design solutions to meet evolving business and project needs. -Ensure all designs approved for construction meet relevant legislation, standards, policies, and procedures. -Incorporate Safety in Design (SiD) principles into all design work.

What You Bring

-Strong working knowledge of Australian and International Standards and Codes of Practice related to transmission line and cable design. -Degree Q ualification in Electrical, Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. -Proficient in PLS-CADD, with experience in CDEGS, CYMCAP, ProjectWise, MicroStation, and other design tools. -Proven experience in the functional layout design of transmission lines and/or cables, with specialised expertise in relevant technical processes and procedures.
