Business Solutions Analyst

Overview

Tasks

-Ensure that the solutions developed by the IT team align with business objectives. -Promote the adoption of new technologies and innovative solutions within business units. -Gather feedback from business units on technology performance and areas for improvement. -Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend relevant technologies. -Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding technology needs, projects, and updates -Ensure that employees are proficient in using the tools and technologies implemented including applications and dashboards and reports. -Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the IT team. -Develop a deep understanding of the business processes, challenges and opportunities within each unit. -Work with internal teams to scope and design data visualizations to promote data literacy. -Provide training and support to business unit staff on new technologies and systems. -Communicate this feedback to the IT team to drive continuous improvement. -Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise. -Identify opportunities where technology can enhance efficiency and innovation. -Act as the primary point of contact between the IT team and business units. -Coordinate technology projects within business units, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

What You Bring

-Ability to understand and implement best practice standards -Other technical experience such as military, public service, on the job training programs, etc. may meet this requirement as determined by local management -Strong experience with construction-specific software, including Autodesk Tools, BIM platforms, and project management systems, is required -Positive, self-motivated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and stakeholder engagement -Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under tight deadlines -Periods of time walking on construction sites -Ability to adapt to change and stress in the work environment and manage competing demands while maintaining high performance levels -Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail -Familiarity with construction processes, safety standards, and regulations -Bachelor's degree from 4-year college/university or equivalent experience -Periods of time working in a normal office environment at assigned office location -Proven experience in construction technology, IT systems, or construction management software -Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities -Ability to prioritize multiple projects -5 years or more of construction industry work experience required -Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally -Travel is required in the first year as you get up to speed and build key relationships. As you settle into the role, travel will taper off. -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
