Tasks

We are looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to complement our Transportation team in our Raleigh, NC office. The position will involve working directly with staff including engineers, technicians and administrative staff on pursuit, development, and execution of traffic engineering projects. You will work with many different ms team members within the Transportation Business Unit. -Leading designated task assignments and reporting progress to senior staff -Communicate with clients and potential clients to obtain and execute projects to client satisfaction -Provide assistance with feasibility studies, environmental planning documents, and proposing changes for highway projects to improve traffic efficiency and safety. -Traffic Signal Design and Plan preparation -Perform traffic analysis and preparation of traffic studies, safety and reports -Oversee final project plan and document preparation -Signing and Pavement Marking Plan preparation

What You Bring

-Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD -Professional Engineering License (PE) with ability to obtain PE license in multiple states -Demonstrated traffic engineering experience -Familiarity with MUTCD, and NCDOT policies and procedures -Experience with HCS and GuideSign software -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Ability to lead, provide direction and collaborate effectively in a team environment -Familiarity with Synchro, VISSIM, and Transmodeler software preferred
