The Role
Overview
Assist with installation, testing, and maintenance of high-voltage substation equipment.

Tasks
-Participate in aerial lift and infrared testing. -Contribute to procurement efforts for materials, spare parts, and specialized tools. -Help with transformer processing and battery/charger installation and testing. -Support substation and power station personnel with equipment installation and maintenance. -Collect and analyze transformer and circuit breaker oil samples (DGA review). -Assist with testing of substation equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, regulators, and CCVTs.

What You Bring
-Must have an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026 or later. -Currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year technology degree program in: Instrumentation Technology Electrical & Electronic Engineering Technology Electrical Engineering Technology Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field -Problem-solving skills with mechanical and/or electrical equipment. -Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. -Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a field environment. -Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field -Effective communication, time management, and teamwork skills. -Strong math, technical, and mechanical aptitude. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
