Tasks
-Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards, if applicable. -Draft scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates using an A3 format. -Review estimates for accuracy and completeness. -Responsible for the timely completion of all client-required documents. -Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures -Request quotes from suppliers for equipment and materials. -Itemize and quantify all incidentals necessary in preparing the bid packages including sub-contract work, equipment rental, tools, supplies, and schedule. -Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work and input into computer estimating system. -Provide to the Chief Estimator a detailed review of scope, technical requirements, and pricing for the estimated bid package. -Bring your expertise into the bid process and proposal by detailing how we will build each project. -Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for completeness with plans and specifications -Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. -After the successful bid at project turnover, meet with Project Management to fully explain the estimate, scope of work, quotes and offer aspects for the successful transition of the project. -Bring innovation to the team through collaboration and continuous education.

What You Bring
-Knowledgeable of electrical materials and methods of installation -Self-driven with the ability to stay on-task for extended periods of time while working independently -Team player mentality -Regular and predictable attendance. -Knowledgeable of current local and national electrical codes (N.E.C.) -Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and estimating software -Minimum 1-3 years of Electrical Estimating experience -Good knowledge of local electrical codes -Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills -Ability to read and understand civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, etc. plans and specifications to include blueprints, proposals and other relevant documents
