Tasks

-Researches and compiles responses to government auditors or internal personnel to support audit requests and inquiries; may work directly with auditors to answer questions. -Gathers and maintains overhead job descriptions to support cost methodology/homogenous pool assignments and work in tandem with team to demonstrate processes to auditors. -Prepares and analyzes forecast and financial data for development of forward pricing rates, final incurred cost claims, cost monitoring, and cost studies. -May provide technical support to team including database execution and liaison interfaces for outside innovative support. -Prepares financial performance metrics and trend reports. -Performs and collaborates analytical studies. -Assists leads and management in analyzing and providing workable solutions by applying analytical techniques. -Supports a variety of activities related to final incurred cost development, forward pricing and cost monitoring. -Monitors and analyzes cost performance and reports to government. -Use Business Objects (create queries and reports based on corporate financial databases) -Analyzes financial data to determine allowability and out-of-period costs based on government regulations.

What You Bring

-Knowledge and use of Federal acquisition regulations (FAR) -Understands Bechtel’s organizational structure and policies and procedures -Microsoft Power BI and Excel for analysis and reporting -Currently utilizes Microsoft Outlook Excel, (including Pivot tables to summarize large data sets), Word and Power Point applications -Willingness to learn and apply government regulations, as applicable to position -Analytical and reconciliation techniques -Flexible to handle multiple tasks and work in a team dependent environment -Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience -Hyperion and CFAR report preparation and execution
