HVAC Commercial Technician (Service Dept)

Maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Tasks

-Conduct preventative maintenance on all types of commercial HVAC equipment -Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. -Inspecting and repairing systems and performing warranty services. -Perform system diagnostics and propose solutions to customers while on-demand service calls. -Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for commercial HVAC systems. -Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. -Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements. -Maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. -Assisting with customers' queries. -Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. -Providing technical direction and on-the-job training. -Minimize unapplied time. -Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.

-Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. -Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols. -Ability to work in confined spaces. -High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. -Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice. -Valid TX driver's license. -Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. -EPA certificate (preferred). -Must pass a background check and drug test. -Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
