What You Bring
-Advanced HVAC/R Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, especially chilled water systems. -Attention to Detail: Precision in diagnostics, documentation, and compliance with regulations. -Certifications from OEMs: Training from manufacturers like Trane, York, Carrier, or Daikin. -Team Collaboration: Works well with service teams, engineers, and facility managers. -EPA Certification: Required for handling refrigerants (e.g., Section 608 certification in the U.S.). -Controls & Automation: Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), PLCs, and digital control systems. -Chiller Diagnostics & Repair: Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining centrifugal, screw, scroll, and absorption chillers. -Customer Service Orientation: Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients. -Experience with Data Centers: Familiarity with mission-critical environments and uptime requirements. -Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to think critically and resolve complex technical issues under pressure. -Project Leadership: Ability to lead service projects or mentor junior technicians. -Refrigeration Principles: Strong grasp of thermodynamics, refrigerant cycles, and compressor operations. -Safety Protocols: Knowledge of OSHA standards and commitment to safe work practices. -Electrical & Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to read schematics, diagnose electrical faults, and repair mechanical components. -Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving systems and tools.
