EOLT Test Technician

Overview

Test engineer performs end‑of‑line performance testing on cooling systems.

Tasks

-Carry out customer end of line witness tests -Assist Technical Support with site visits as periodically required -Achieving project targets on time -Testing design TD at required waterflows and pressure drops -Completing test requirements on time – with accurate reporting data -Building test rigs and providing test plans -Provide high quality and reliable products and services in accordance with our published specifications to fully satisfy the needs of our customers -Carrying out tests on the full range of all Airedale equipment -Undertaking all aspects of testing requirements, specifically: -Follow SOM Test Procedures and amend where required -Contribute to risk assessments, health and safety investigations, maintaining high standards of housekeeping/ 5S standards in test bays and work areas -Liaising with both office and shop floor personnel/ departments

What You Bring

-Computer and report writing skills essential -Electrical and mechanical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment -Good communication skills -Ability to be flexible and available for overtime (can be at short notice) -F-Gas certified -Basic Controls knowledge -Capable of working unsupervised with ability to use own initiative -Troubleshooting/ fault finding -Previous test experience will be of benefit, but not essential, additional training will be provided -Knowledge of Airedale products -Involvement in quality investigations and structured problem solving using DMAIC tools and methodologies for problems identified by external customer complaints and internal concerns Engaging other departments in problem solving investigations.
