Overview

Lead A&P mechanic oversees aircraft return to service, parts shipping, and team leadership.

Tasks

-Return aircraft to service after maintenance at off-site locations -May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA -Act as shipping and receiving agent for parts -Create service orders with SAP

What You Bring

-Must have a valid drivers’ license and be able to maintain insurable status -Ability to effectively and accurately communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status with customers at all levels -Must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays -Strong troubleshooting skills -Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) -Ability to obtain a Bombardier Corporate Credit Card and stay in good standing of guideline requirements -Ability to work unsupervised and alone -Delegated Inspector qualified -Demonstrated leadership skills -Possess a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally -Strong planning / organization skills -FAA A&P Certificate -Ability to train other employees -The ability to obtain appropriate certification for Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required -Basic PC Skills -Must have the ability to be available for considerable travel with 2 hours’ notice, to include extended assignments lasting up to 30 days -Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools -Background Check & DOT Drug Screen: This step involves conducting a comprehensive background check, which includes reviewing criminal history, and other relevant records. Additionally, a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening will be carried out to ensure compliance with federal regulations for safety-sensitive positions -Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings -Experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedure -Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned employees, other business areas, contractors, and customers -Must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
