Tasks
-Proactively analyze and monitor markets, competitors, technology, and business trends reporting key findings to the Senior Leadership Team. -Brand management of assigned product lines across global channels. -Define multi-year product strategy including product lifecycle management and multi-generation product planning. -Manage product pricing strategy relative to market value and competitive position. Work with Engineering, Customer Service, Global Sales and Market Development Managers to optimize and implement strategy. -Coordinate with Global Sales Team to identify and penetrate target accounts and markets. -Plan and execute product specific promotional activities in partnership with Marketing Communications including trade shows, new product introduction, social media, videos, and content marketing. -Develop & maintain product materials in partnership with Marketing Communications for demand generation, product support and training. -Lead project teams to support continuous improvement efforts in profitability, revenue, product quality, customer satisfaction and company policies and processes. -Serve as cross-functional team member in the New Product Development process leading project, kickoff and market release phases including project scheduling, cross-functional coordination of activities and resources, product positioning strategy, launch plan, promotional materials, target customer lists, pricing, training of internal and external sales and sales support staff, inventory plans, product packaging. -Identification of new business opportunities including those using existing products as well as those requiring new product development.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or other related field, (AND) 5 or more years of product management experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment; (OR) an equivalent combination of education and experience. -Prior experience leading global projects successfully. -Skilled with business software (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook). -Strong interpersonal skills to work with differing personalities at all levels. -Experience with ERP, CRM, & CMS software is preferred. -Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills; Evidence of strategic thinking and putting together product roadmap. -Experience in electro-mechanical components, battery, IT / telecom hardware, backup power, alternative energy, material handling equipment or related businesses is a primary consideration. -Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate proficiency with technical information & business processes. -Up to 20% travel required as the need arises. -Excellent written / verbal / interpersonal communications.
